Welcome to my blog. If you’re a first-timer, it’s your lucky day because we don’t sacrifice first-timers on Columbus Day eve. We reward them! (If you would have come on Labor Day, that would have been a different story.)
Announcing winners for some past giveaways first, then we get down to the next free stuff.
Winner of the Kindle Fire from last weekend is TRACY CLUGH.
Winner of the signed copies of Losing Hope are: Ashley Beale, Diannela Denee, Colleen Farrell (Who also wins a copy of This Girl) Morisa Kessler and Michel Baxter Cunningham.
Winner of the giveaway from yesterday on the Book Lovers for Life blog for signed copies of both Hopeless and Losing Hope is Saarika Bhakti.
Congrats winners. Email me at email@example.com and you’ll get hooked up with your winnings.
Okay, back to it. Today is a really big day. HUGE! First, it’s Columbus Day eve. Second, it’s Finding Cinderella release day eve. Third, it’s the eve, eve of The Avett Brothers release of the album Magpie and the Dandelion. I think all this good news calls for some free stuff to be given away. So anything you want to give me for free, just send it to my PO box this week to celebrate. Thanks! Have a great week. <3
Ha. Worth a shot.
For real, though. I know some of you have already utilized your Kobo apps and downloaded Finding Cinderella this weekend since they put it up early, but a lot of you are still patiently waiting for it to go live everywhere else. The good news is, the book will be live tonight after midnight on AMAZON and iTUNES while you’re thinking about it, you can go ahead and PRE-ORDER it for free HERE.
Go ahead. We’ll wait until you’re finished.
Not going anywhere.
As far as those of you waiting for it to show up on iTunes and Nook, they don’t put up pre-orders on free books, so the book will show up after midnight tonight in the online stores. If you’re looking for the links, just come back here tonight or tomorrow and I’ll link iTUNES HERE and NOOK RIGHT HERE when I get links for them. ;) Because I’ll be awake.
As far as those of you who are reading this blog for the first time because you saw the word free, let me explain. I write books. And normally I charge for these books, but tonight I’m giving a book away for free because I’ve had a very lucky couple of years as an author and owe all my thanks to the readers who read my words. So if you don’t want to pay for a book, not knowing if you’ll even like my books, you don’t have to. Just go HERE and get it for free. No strings attached. You don’t even have to read it this year. I wrote it because I have the best, most loyal readers in the universe and sometimes they deserve to know how much they are appreciated.
Okay, NOW for the giveaway. Being as though it’s Columbus Day eve and America was (re)discovered in 1492, I thought about giving away 1,492 things. But then I thought about how that could make me go broke. So instead, I thought I’d give away 14.92 things, but that would mean I’d have to take away .08 of someones prize and that wouldn’t be fair. Who wants to win a book with some of the pages missing? So we’re going to round up today and be fair by giving away fifteen things. 15. FIFTEEN. Because if you think about it, 15 is a one and a five and if you add the one and the five together, you get SIX. And Six is the star of our novella that will be releasing for free tonight. Ironic? No. Not at all.
Okay, so here are the prizes you can win.
1) Signed copy of the hardback of Losing Hope, also signed by the cover model, Griffin Peterson.
2) Kindle Fire.
3) Ipad mini.
4) $25 gift card to Amazon.
5) $50 gift card to Amazon.
6) $50 gift card to iTunes.
7) Signed copy of the fresh-off-the-press Spanish translated version of HOPELESS.
8) Indonesian copy of Point of Retreat.
9) UK editions of Hopeless and Losing Hope.
10) Signed copy of SLAMMED.

13) Signed copy of HOPELESS.
14) Signed copy of Losing Hope.
15) A hardpack edition of Losing Hope signed by both myself and the cover model, Griffin Peterson.
Fifteen prizes to be given away this Wednesday! All you have to do to enter is share this blog post on Facebook or Twitter, then come back here and comment on this blog post where you shared it. I’ll choose from the comments on Wednesday fifteen winners! (Please do not send me any more humans. The post office was REALLY MAD about that.)
And please don’t forget to download Finding Cinderella so it can be available to you at midnight. I can’t wait for this book to be released and even though it’s a free book, I would still love for the book to be reviewed because I LOVE to hear what you guys think. We’ve had a few early blog reviews and I’ve read them all about a million times. <3
And if I haven’t been pushy enough, annoying enough or in-your-face enough about the fact that this novella is free and I want you to download it, then let me do it one more time.
