First of all, I just want to wish my big boy a happy birthday!!!  Cale turned nine years old today.  And yes, “Kel” from the books was inspired by my own Cale.  He loves to hear stories about the other Kel in the books, and his favorite story is when Kel is turning 11 in Point of Retreat and gets the cake that says, “Happy Butterflying Birthday, Kel.”   So when I asked Cale what kind of cake he wanted me to order this morning, he chose this:

 

Cale inspired a lot of the “Kel” scenes in the books.  Here’s a pic of one of them.  This is the snowman my boys made two years ago.

 

Crazy kids.  But hey, it makes for good scenes in books!  :)

Okay, now on to why we’re really here. I’m going to have to come up with a better way to do these giveaways, like rafflecopter.  This took me two hours to compute with all the extra bonus entries!
