Before I started writing, I didn’t know this world existed. This world of book bloggers and readers and goodreads and the obsession that comes along with finding and falling in love with fictional characters. I don’t know how I lived 32 years without it. The best part of this whole process is when google alerts me. (Yes, I’m a google alert dork.) Today was awesome in and of itself because SLAMMED made it all the way to #72 in all of Amazon e-books. But the thing that gets me the most are things like this:
It stuns me that people who don’t even know me will take the time to write such beautiful poetry in response to Slammed.

I butterfly love your books, i cried through the happy parts and sobbed through the sad parts,i couldnt close the books i started slammed on a thursday night around 9pm and finished retreat @ midnight that saturday. I cant wait for more of ur stuff!! U rock!
